Arthur has over 20 years experience in professional roles and managing international

projects, which have provided unique insights into what motivates people to collaborate.

He initiated and facilitated virtual global communities to leverage knowledge sharing and

increase productivity.  Through these roles and as the Global Knowledge Director for a

large fast moving consumer goods business, he developed a keen interest in human

behaviour and how to successfully implement change.  His observations on people have

been captured in his USA published book, The Organizational Zoo, A Survival Guide to

Workplace Behaviour.

An engaging and entertaining speaker and experienced facilitator, Arthur enjoys

facilitating groups to leverage their diversity, generate productive interactions and

lead change.  Workshop participants quickly identify with The Organizational Zoo

characters and become more open to interacting with others.  They share humorous

stories about their workplace behaviours and relationships and learn from workplace

and project anecdotes.

Arthur assists clients to engage and influence stakeholders and smoothly integrate

organisational change projects.  His unique workshops and capability development

programs can be used to assist select and develop team members and for

understanding how to get people to work together more effectively.  Arthur’s sense of

fun and tongue-in-cheek style engages participants, who soon find themselves

enjoying observing the animals around them and better understanding how to work

more productively with them.

Arthur has a Master of Science from the University of Queensland (Australia) and is a

qualified Quality Systems Auditor.  He jokingly adds his most significant qualification is

a Postgraduate Diploma in Enjoying Work from the Multicultural School of Life.

A self confessed Owl, Arthur blends work and other life interests into a well balanced lifestyle.  He enjoys posting to on-line knowledge forums to assist others and engaging in good open dialogues where diversity of opinion is being shared and constructively challenged.  He is the course coordinator for Knowledge Management in RMIT University’s MBA program, speaks regularly at international conferences and is currently writing his next 2 books.
